DREAM is a program for final year / fresh engineering students that focuses on making students aware & knowledgeable of the real work environment and provide them with practical insights through Industry Visits,Guest Lectures by Industry Practitioners and through Internships. The focus is on creating strong value-adding careers and not just getting the first jobs, by building value systems along with domain expertise and soft skills.

Retail
Retail is the sector that is poised to show the highest growth in the next five years. The sector is set for a revolution, as both the present players and new entrants are gearing up to explore the market.
Expansion in this sector would account for 15-20% of employment opportunities in the country and would hence require skilled entry level talent.
Daksha is focused on creating the right skill pool for this sector through its DARE (Daksha’s Advantage for Retail Employability) program.
Retail is a vast sector, when it comes to developing skills. DARE shall be taking different forms along with specific requirements in the retail sector at various levels and for varied environments e.g. for groceries and food, for fashion and luxury retail, for very niche skills etc.
One such key initiative is the partnership with Shoppers Stop, to address the demand for skilled workforce for their specific requirements. While insurance is a fast growing industry, it is also the one with the highest talent deficit. Companies today are apprehensive of investing in recruiting and training new employees for fear of losing them in a few months from joining.
There is a demand for qualified and skilled professionals with knowledge and technical know-how to drive the growth of companies. New players are looking for experienced hands to set up theirbusinesses; the old players are trying to retain their best talent to be able to prosper well.
